Reaching out — texting the pitch from your phone

What you're doing and why
The Match & Sell screen gave you a ranked list of local businesses that would want your site's leads. This is where you actually reach out — and it's built for the way you really work: from your phone, in your own voice, not through some robotic mass-texter. One tap and your phone's messaging app opens with the whole pitch already written, addressed to that business, ready to send from your own number. You just hit send (or read it out loud on a call).
The exact steps
- On a prospect card, you've got three buttons: Text pitch, Call, and Copy pitch.
- Text pitch → your phone's SMS app opens with a message already written to that business: who you are, that your site is ranking and getting real calls, and the exclusive $/mo offer, ending with the link to your sales page. Hit send.
- Call → dials the business. (Use the written pitch as your script.)
- Copy pitch → copies the same message so you can paste it into email, WhatsApp, wherever.
- Once you've reached out, the prospect flips to Contacted automatically — so you always know who you've already hit and who's still to do.
Why it's built this way
- It sends from YOUR number, not a robot line. A text from a real local number gets a real reply. A shortcode or an obvious mass-text gets ignored. So the button hands the message to your own phone instead of blasting it from a server.
- The pitch is written for the business, not for you. It never says "you have no website" (that's your reason for picking them, not something you say to them). It's a clean, confident offer.
- The link does the selling. Every pitch ends in your sales page — screenshot, proof, price, and a claim button. You don't have to explain everything; you just get them to the link.
Gotchas
- Text pitch / Call need a phone number on file. Most map-listed businesses have one; the ad-only prospects (the ones you know from their Google Ad, not a map listing) may not — call those from the number in their ad.
- Do it from your phone for the Text button to open your messaging app. On a desktop, use Copy pitch and send it from your phone, or just call.
- "Contacted" is your worklist. Work the list top-down (highest fit first); the badge keeps you from pitching the same business twice.
