When your site is "ready to sell" — and how to read the Match & Sell screen

What you're doing and why
You don't have to watch your sites. The moment one of them either ranks in the top 3 OR captures its first real lead, the dashboard flips it to "ready to sell," emails you, and automatically builds a shortlist of local businesses to rent it to. Your job shrinks to: open the site, look at the top 2–3 businesses, and reach out. This lesson is how to read that shortlist.
The exact steps
- You get an email: "Ready to sell — <your business name>." Open your dashboard → Pitching → click the site (or click Sell → on it in the Control Room).
- You land on the Match & Sell screen: your site up top with its proof (leads it's already captured), a ranked list of local businesses on the left, and a map of them on the right.
- Read the list top-down — it's sorted by "fit" (how badly they'd want your leads). For each one the chips tell you why it's ranked there. Start at the top.
- For each of the top 2–3: hit Call (the number's right there), or later use the pitch button. Not a fit? Hit Dismiss and it drops off the list.
What it looked like for us
Live on our Ozark septic site the day it shipped — top of the list:
- Active Septic Services — fit 90. In the Google map pack, 4.3★ (16 reviews), and no website at all. Chip: "No website — can't capture a single web lead today." A real, visible business that literally cannot catch a web lead. Perfect renter.
- IPE Septic Solutions — fit 85. 5.0★ (10), no website.
- "Septic Tank Pumping Ozark Mo" — fit 80. Chip: "Runs Google Ads but isn't ranking organically — already paying for these leads." They're spending on ads right now; your #1 site is cheaper leads.
The map showed all of them pinned around Ozark, colored by fit (green = hottest). Two of the 23 had no map pin — those were the advertisers (we know them from their ad, not a map listing).
Gotchas
- The shortlist is ready before your site finishes ranking — that's on purpose. Line up the renter while you wait for Google.
- Don't pitch the business already ranking #1 organically — they don't need you (the tool scores them low for exactly this reason).
- "No website" + decent reviews = your hottest, easiest pitch. You become their whole web presence.
- The very top fit-90 with no website will almost always be your first call.
